In response to media reports that " the Ta Ching Corvette can’t aim at a target properly? Naval exercises in the sea and airspace off Keelung have uncovered the issue", Navy Command said today (12th) that this report is purely speculative and not true.

Naval Command further stated that the airspace that Command mentioned on June 23 off the coast of Keelung is the chosen location for annual routine exercises; not for firing practice with weapons of any kind.

Naval Command emphasizes that the Ta Ching Corvette has already been commissioned into service and all its equipment is currently in use. As such, Command urges the media to avoid speculating and misleading our nationals.
