In response to media reports that "the publication of military media has revealed the designation of the Sky Bow Missile Unit, and high-level command was outraged and punished the officers and soldiers severely", Air Force Command explains today (22nd) as follows:

1. Mr. Li Dong-liang, chairman of the Friends of the Armed Forces Association, has been focusing on and caring for the Armed Forces for a long time. In coping with recent threats from the enemy, officers and soldiers have been working hard to perform combat readiness tasks, and the association had gone to the units and offered servicemen support and appreciation for their work. As for the designations of the military units they visited, these units were already published on the Air Force Facebook page and open reports so there was no risk of any secrets being leaked.

2. The original intention of the publicity by the unit is only to remind subordinate servicemen that they should avoid marking the designation of classified units. The purpose is not to place any censure or punishment on them nor has anyone been punished.
